Rules for participating in Prompt Arena

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use Prompt Arena. Accounts may be suspended or terminated if we determine you have violated these Terms, misused AI features, or engaged in fraudulent activity. Organization accounts remain the property of the subscribing entity.

2. User responsibilities

• Maintain accurate account information and safeguard your login credentials.
• Use Prompt Arena only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access or suspected security incident.
• Comply with all applicable laws, export controls, and workplace policies when accessing Prompt Arena.

3. Subscriptions & billing

Prompt Arena offers free and paid plans. Pricing, limits, and features may change from time to time, but we will provide reasonable prior notice for materially adverse changes affecting active subscriptions. By upgrading to a paid plan, you authorize us and our payment processors to charge the payment method on file for recurring fees. The following terms apply:

• Paid plans auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled before renewal.
• Refunds are not provided for partially used billing periods, except where required by law.
• Trials and promotional offers may convert to paid plans unless you cancel before the end of the promotional period.
• Fees are exclusive of any taxes or duties. You are responsible for paying applicable taxes.

4. Responsible AI use

Prompt Arena blends proprietary models with trusted third-party AI services to generate negotiation opponents and coaching tips. You agree not to input data that is classified, illegal to share, or subject to contractual secrecy obligations without consent. AI outputs are probabilistic; you should independently evaluate important decisions before acting on them.

We may monitor transcripts, metadata, or other signals to ensure fair play, tune AI behavior, and detect abuse. Abuse includes triggering harmful content, automating matches to game leaderboards, or using Prompt Arena to generate disallowed content.

5. Prohibited conduct

• Reverse engineering, scraping, or attempting to bypass rate limits, security controls, or subscription meters.
• Uploading malicious code, training data you do not own, or personal information about third parties without consent.
• Using Prompt Arena output to create deceptive, discriminatory, or harmful negotiations.
• Misrepresenting your identity, impersonating other players, or interfering with matchmaking, leaderboards, or payouts.

6. Suspension & termination

Prompt Arena may suspend or terminate access at any time if you violate these Terms, create security risks, or fail to pay fees owed. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before suspension unless immediate action is required for safety or legal reasons. Upon termination, your right to use the service stops immediately, but sections intended to survive—such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability—will remain in effect.

7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

PROMPT ARENA IS PROVIDED “AS IS”. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. PROMPT ARENA AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS IN ANY 12-MONTH PERIOD IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE DURING THAT PERIOD.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect product improvements, comply with laws, or clarify language. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or in-product notice at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of Prompt Arena after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
